We are the Southeast Asian American Education Coalition, a non-profit organization dedicated to the educational success and empowerment of the Southeast Asian community.
OUR COMMUNITIES
SEAeD defines Southeast Asian Americans as people in the United States whose heritage stems from Cambodia, Laos, Vietnam, or Burma. Most Southeast Asian Americans arrived in the US as refugees or were children of refugees. They include: Cham, Khmer, Khmer Loeu, Highland Khmer, Hmong, Iu Mienh, Khmu, Lao, Taidam, Khmer Kampuchea Krom, Montagnards, Vietnamese, Burmese, and Karen.
